HOUSES are already either complete or under construction at Warblers Grove.

Two of the seven new homes were sold at Warblers Grove in Constantia before the official launch recently, says Heather Cape of Greeff Properties, the agency marketing the development.

The eighth unit at Warblers Grove is the original Herbert Bakerstyle homestead, which was sold for R25.75 million and is being completely renovated.

Construction of the six double- storey and one single-storey houses will be completed by March 2010.

All have four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a study, an openplan kitchen with a scullery and a double or triple garage.

In most cases there are three reception areas.

Floor sizes range from 492m² to 853m², and erf sizes from 1 350m² to 3 000m², and prices start at R15 695m.

Mike Greeff, chief executive of Greeff Properties, says the developer, Michael Grant, has specified natural slate roofs and solid oak flooring in the living areas.

There are travertine counter tops and large porcelain tiles in the bathrooms. The kitchens are especially pretty, with engineered stone tops and sandalwood counters in an o p e n - p l a n s t y l e wi t h b r e a k f a s t areas.

Natural sandstone cladding is used for the patio columns and other external features, encircling walls with electrified fencing and intruder detection systems, as well as automatically irrigated gardens.
