Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition) - - AUCTIONS -

R AW S O N P r o p e r t i e s h av e launched their auction division and will hold their first auction at 12pm on January 27.

The division will be headed by Tanya Jovanovski, one of Cape Town’s high-profile business personalities. She has worked in the property arena for more than 20 years and has headed commercial, residential and industrial brokerage firms as well as her own property company.

She was the founder of The Business Network and the Property Investors’ Breakfast (which enabled those in property to acquire infor mation a n d a dv i c e f r o m l e a d i n g figures). She is also a motivational speaker and has written 10 books.

Their first auction will be of an upmarket property in the Firlands area of Gordons Bay. The auction will take place on site.

The 1.01-hectare property is situated on the slopes of Protea Heights and offers mountain and sea views.

It consists of a large home as well as five two-bedroom cottages.

The main house has nine bedrooms, of which seven have en-suite bathrooms, and eight bathrooms. The bathrooms are of modern design and boast upmarket finishes.

There are large open-plan entertainment and living areas. The newly renovated kitchen has granite tops and a gas stove as well as two sculleries or pantries.

The proper ty has three garages and lots of parking, as well as a guard house at the front gate. Part of the main house consists of a self-contained flatlet with open-plan kitchen, lounge, dining room and two bedrooms. Multiple entrances allow for easy entrance to most of the rooms.

The swimming pool is situated in front of the main living areas. There is a borehole on the property that provides water to all sur rounding homes and there is also a small dam at the bottom of the property.

For more information or to view the property, call Hein Bredenkamp from the Rawson office in Somerset West on 078 649 7110.

Jovanovski said: “Auctioneering is fast becoming the most popular and effective way to sell property worldwide. We believe the auction method works; the marketing and sales process is extensive and fast as it is set in a specified time frame.

“We also believe that onsite auctions are far more effective and in our view are the preferred method of auctioning properties.”

Those who would like to be notified of Rawson auctions, want to register to bid on the day, be included on their database or simply discuss the possibility of selling property by auction should call Tanya Jovanovski on 082 411 9599 or e-mail tanya@rawsonauctions .com.
