Restored mixed-use building in Worcester on auction
THE DA VINCI Centre, a tastefully renovated, four-storey, sectionalised retail and residential building in Worcester, is soon to be auctioned.
Auctioneer Dawie Maritz of C l a r e Ma r t Au c t i o n G r o u p expects the auction to draw much interest. He says, “We have experienced a marked increase in demand for properties that offer mixed commercial and residential components, and bidding on these key portfolio properties is usually healthy.”
Situated at 36 and 38 Adderley Street, Worcester’s main road, the building comprises a ground-floor retail section that is occupied by four tenants, one of which is Nedbank, he says.
“The remaining three floors comprise 20 modern lock-upand-go apartments, which are tenanted. There are three onebedroom apartments, 12 twobedroom apartments and five t hree-bedroom apar t ments, ranging in size from 42m² to 111m²,” Maritz says.
The building is situated on two erven measuring 1 849m² and 241m² and has a high offstreet parking ratio.
The centre will be offered at the auction group’s next multiple commercial auction, in the Garden Room of the Mount Nelson on Wednesday at 12.30pm.
The building may be viewed strictly by appointment only.
