Hun­gar­ian in­fla­tion sta­ble

HUN­GAR­IAN in­fla­tion is stay­ing sta­ble at 4.2 per­cent on the back of high food and util­ity prices, of­fi­cial data showed.

Con­sumer prices rose, helped by a 7.9 per­cent hike in util­ity prices, while food went up by 5.9 per­cent on an an­nual ba­sis, KSH said.

For 2010 as a whole, the govern­ment is fore­cast­ing an­nual av­er­age in­fla­tion of 4.7 per­cent
