THE BUILDING at 107 Bree Street was recently sold for R6.6 million before it reached the auction block.

Auction Alliance’s Gareth Currie and Ryan Joffe say the 1 000m building has redevelopment potential.

It is next door to the Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital, across the road from Heritage Square.

The three-storey building is currently used as a parking facility, with 15 to 20 bays on the ground floor, six on the first floor and 14 on the second floor.

The Bree Street building was to have been sold at Auction Alliance’s December multiple auction, which was to take place at noon on Wednesday at the Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa, Century City.

FULL OF POTENTIAL: 107 Bree Street was snapped up before it could go to auction.
