Dwarskersbos beach resort offers sensational private sunsets
A PRIVATE beachfront resort, including a 1.2km stretch of private beach, in Dwarskersbos on the West Coast, will fall under the Auction Alliance gavel in February.
The property, an exclusive weekend or holiday destination, is one-and-a-half hours’ drive from Cape Town, according to the auction company’s Albie Loubser.
Covering 190 hectares, the property has a Resort II zoning, with approval for 10 freehold stands, on which fishermen’s cottages may be built according to approved building guidelines, Loubser says. He adds that it is equipped with three-phase electricity and has a permanent water source.
In addition, lapas overlook the resort’s own stretch of unspoiled, private beachfront, which forms part of the surrounding greater estuary and nature reserve area, he says.
The entire resort develop- ment will be sold as a single oppor t unity or syndication between five investors, each owning two freehold stands and sharing in the remaining communal land, Loubser adds.
