CONGRATULATIONS to Sue Dickson for her photograph of three swans on the River Thames at Windsor.
Dickson wins an overnight stay for two at the Dolphin Beach Hotel, which has spectacular views of Table Mountain and Table Bay.
The hotel has spacious apartments and beachfront cabanas to suit almost every budget.
Each comfortably appointed unit offers self-catering facilities with satellite television, a safe, wi- fi, undercover parking and facilities for the disabled, as well as housekeeping, babysitting, laundry and dry-cleaning services.
The hotel has a children’s play area in the dunes, an outdoor swimming pool and a health and beauty salon.
The Blowfish Restaurant, which offers sushi, seafood and sunsets, is next to the hotel, while Blouberg’s entertainment promenade is within walking distance, making the Dolphin Beach Hotel a perfect family getaway.
The runners- up are Anwyn Hammond for her photograph of the Okavango Delta, and Chris Murrell for his photograph taken at Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town.
Travel will continue to publish the readers’ photographic competition, offering a prize of an overnight stay for the winner each week.
Rules: All photographs must relate to travel, and you may enter as many photographs as you like.
All photographs must be digital and high-resolution.
No photographs taken on cellphones or photos smaller than 700KB will be accepted. All photographs must be sent as jpeg attachments and not embedded in MS Word documents.
Photographers must supply their name and surname, as well as the suburb they live in, with a phone number and a full caption. Unfortunately, any photographs received without full details or correct resolution will be rejected.
