Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition) - - COMMENT -

My elderly friend had the unfortunate experience of having to visit Durbanville clinic. The staff and doctor were rude. The two pregnant ladies who were first in the queue were helped last. Surely these people must realise that treating patients, especially the elderly, with dignity and respect will make a very long wait just a bit more bearable.

When will South Africans start realising that times have changed? Xhosa initiates are dying every year. These boys die in the name of culture.

Naushad Omar, I hope you read Mike Charles’s letter in Cape Points July 4 – a good summary of Israel’s history. Please take the trouble to read and research the situation there and you will see the glaring truth that the so-called Palestinians have refused every attempt by Israel and the UN to establish a two-party state. Please stop your obvious anti-semitic garbage.
