New heads for law commission

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma has appointed two judges as chairwoman and vice chairman of the SA Law Reform Commission, the presidency has announced.

Judge Mandisa Muriel Lindelwa was appointed chairwoman of the commission, while Judge Jody Kollapen was appointed vice chairman for five years, spokesman Mac Maharaj said yesterday.

“The president has congratula­ted the two on their appointmen­ts.”

Maharaj said the remaining commission­ers would be announced in due course. – Sapa
