Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition) - - COMMENT -

The DA wants to rule South Africa and admits its MPs were inadequately prepared for the Equity Bill. Shame on you Zille. Now please stop complaining about the government. We will be worse off if you cannot even be effective as opposition.

At least Helen Zille had the guts to say ‘I made a mistake and I am sorry’. We never hear that from the ANC and I think that although Zille has apologised for backing the EE Bill, this stupid blunder is going to upset many of the voters.

My word, the ANC opening a School of Government to train officials. Yes, to train them how to defraud the taxpayer without noticing sooner.

The president is ducking and diving yet again. Give him a vote of no confidence.

I am disgusted by the obvious sight of inequality. It pains me to read daily in the Cape newspapers that this province and us white people in particular keep on saying this is the best province when it comes to service delivery. That is of course our reality and the DA’s too. But not that of the people on the Flats. Really people, let’s stop these blatant lies.

All MPs’ credit cards withdrawn because they have enough cash in handbags and back pockets.

I have just figured out why our dear important ANC politicians have the blue brigade. So that they don’t have to face the poverty on the streets.

The ANC Youth League obviously thought money grows on trees like their elders do. No doubt apartheid will once again take the rap for it.

How great it would be if South Africa was the only country in the world where nobody paid for their rent, electricity and water. Just like the guy in Tafelsig with six children, depending on disability grants. Not much wrong with his ability to produce. And then our Gwede Mantashe declares war on the DA.
