Surfers, what’s in a name? Crons, Kraans or Krans – why bother, as everyone knows where it is.

Weather Tip

GOOD SURF looks on the cards today and tomorrow, although a stiff southeaster is smashing the sea backwards today, and driving the temperatures into frigid zones. Watch a 4- 5’ swell morph into a thumping long range, deep energy groundswell, with sets reaching 8’ solid on open ocean breaks this evening. However, tomorrow the wind has dropped to a clean whiff of smooth offshore, brushing back a solid 6’ open ocean groundswell, which should open a lot of options with the low tide at 12.30pm.
