Surfers, what’s in a name? Crons, Kraans or Krans – why bother, as everyone knows where it is.
GOOD SURF looks on the cards today and tomorrow, although a stiff southeaster is smashing the sea backwards today, and driving the temperatures into frigid zones. Watch a 4- 5’ swell morph into a thumping long range, deep energy groundswell, with sets reaching 8’ solid on open ocean breaks this evening. However, tomorrow the wind has dropped to a clean whiff of smooth offshore, brushing back a solid 6’ open ocean groundswell, which should open a lot of options with the low tide at 12.30pm. MISFORTUNE: Simone Robb had to borrow an inferior board and was knocked out of the Swatch Girls Pro China longboard event. Her board was not delivered to the venue on time, necessitating the switch.
