THE ASKA SPOKESPER­SON THE Aska sales team re­port that the launch of phase 1 of the Park­lands North Se­cu­rity En­clave has sur­passed all ex­pec­ta­tions and seen just shy of R50 mil­lion worth of sin­gle res­i­den­tial land sales be­ing snapped up within three-hours of be­ing put to the mar­ket. Dave Macleod-El­liott, sales di­rec­tor of Aska Prop­erty Group re­ports that it h a s b e e n s o me t i me s i n c e w e h a v e e x p e r i e n c e d s u c h un­prece­dented de­mand of this mag­ni­tude, at a prop­erty launch. The launch: De­tails of the launch of phase 1 of the fi­nal pocket of Park- portable braais, sleep­ing bags and chairs – par­ty­ing through the night in an­tic­i­pa­tion of the launch. The sales team had to or­der a portable even­tu­ally lock the sales of­fice and go home. At 9am, the sales team, as­sisted by head of­fice staff, ush­ered the buy­ers in three at a time and con­cluded sales. By 11am the queue had been served with 62 of the 86 avail­able plots be­ing sold. Dur­ing Mon­day, the de­vel­op­ers were up­dated on the sales con­cluded. Sev­eral de­vel­op­ers re­turned pur­chas­ing a fur­ther 11 plots here. The er­ven launched in this phase where be­tween 160 – 650m2 in ex­tent a n d s o l d f o r b e t ween R460 0 0 0 ( t e r r a c e s t y l e p l o t ) t o ap­prox­i­mately R920 000 for the (sin­gle res­i­den­tial style er­ven). Nathan Green, sales ex­ec­u­tive of Aska adds … “phase 1 of the se­cu­rity en­clave was launched ex­clu­sively to the top struc­ture de­vel­op­ers only. We haven’t even ap­proached our short list yet, which con­sist of a sig­nif­i­cant amount of in­ter­ested in­vest­ment buy­ers and end-users that have been wait­ing for the launch of this de­vel­op­ment, let alone the gen­eral pub­lic. The sales team are gear­ing up to launch the next phase of the “the Se­cu­rity En­clave” which will take place hope­fully as soon as early Fe­bru­ary next year. The Park­lands North Se­cu­rity En­clave of­fers an op­por­tu­nity to pro­vide a level of se­cu­rity with­out the huge costs to the own­ers. Parks: In ad­di­tion to the 23 land­scaped parks and the lin­ear open spa­ces in the greater area, the en­clave will pro­vide a fur­ther three land­scaped parks.
