Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition) - - FRONT PAGE - WEEKEND ARGUS REPORTER

IT’S THAT time again, when some of the world’s top nature photographers gather in Cape Town for Wild Shots, Africa’s premier annual wildlife photography conference.

Now in its fifth year, the event plays host to world-class nature photographers and industry practitioners who present their work, inspiring the audience via seminars, workshops and discussions.

Expect stunning imagery and hear how the photographers got their best shots.

Open to amateurs and professionals alike, Wild Shots takes place next Saturday at the V&A Waterfront.

Among the speakers are Nelis Womarans, of A Time with Giants – adventures with mountain gorillas fame, Andrew Aveley ( Black and White – the art of exposure) and Peter Corbett, whose talk is entitled Landscapes – harmonising creative vision with printing excellence.

Entry is R1 350, or R950 for students and retirees.
