well have been played by a CG character. Still, the new mutants introduced in this adventure are an appealing bunch.

BAD NEIGHBOURS 2

A rehash of the first film, it is surprisingly entertaining, thanks largely to its unexpectedly timely humour.

Mac and Kelly (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) are parents of a young daughter, although this time they have another girl on the way, and they’re looking forward to moving into a larger, nicer home.

The only kink in their plan is selling their house. The good news is the fraternity from the last movie has moved out of the house next door and a family is interested in Mac and Kelly’s home.

The bad news? The prospective buyers will probably back out as soon as they discover that the next-door neighbours are a lawless upstart sorority.

The jokes, this time, though, are surprising timely, reminding viewers of the ways men and women are held to different standards.
