Sei­del and Beth are mother and daugh­ter and they draw on their ex­pe­ri­ences in this piece, which com­bines music, dance and wry commentary about “pets, im­mi­grat­ing and fam­ily”.

Hear Our Voices Artscape Youth De­vel­op­ment’s Borne Frees will wrap up Artscape’s Youth Month pro­gramme, which is on at the com­plex un­til July 15. Hear Our Voices, a dance pro­duc­tion, is be­ing staged from July 15-17. The Borne Frees project is a plat­form for 100 young dancers from schools across Cape Town “to ex­press their dreams and con­cerns”. Tick­ets are R40-R300.
