Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition) - - PROPERTY -

THE AVERAGE selling price of homes in Imhoff ’s Gift in Kommetjie has grown by 15% over the past 12 months, PropStats show. Homes with three or four bedrooms range from R2.5 million to R4.5m.

Now a new development in the area, the Aviary, is offering affordable homes with good growth potential based on the performance of the existing real estate, says Jeremy Barnes, head of South Peninsula and surrounds for Greeff.

The estate is situated to the north- west of Imhoff ’s Gift and offers seven semi-detached homes overlooking Imhoff Farm against the backdrop of sea and mountain vistas.

Accommodation includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite) on the upper level, plus a guest loo, and an open-plan lounge/dining-room/kitchen with outdoor flow onto a tiled patio. Features include a built-in braai on the ground level, double garages and enclosed gardens.

The average floor size is 218m2 and the average plot size is 350m2.
