SA musos band together to help fund relief for Knysna
SOME of the biggest names on the South African music scene are getting behind the Knysna fire relief efforts.
Prime Circle, Just Jinjer and Tailor will take to the stage tonight at the Cape Town International Convention Centre with all the money from ticket sales going to relief organisations working in Knysna.
Ticket prices have been slashed from R310 to R200, and there are still plenty available.
Concert promoter Roddy Quinn said: “It’s really great to be part of such an effort. We all have friends who have lost houses, cars and even pets in the devastation. (So many) people have been affected by it, it’s devastating.”
Prime Circle and Just Jinjer are award-winning entertain- ers, and Tailor has two Sama nominations to her credit.
● Tickets are available at www.computicket.com
Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 8.30pm.
