Libertas apartments in Buh-Rein Estate offer excellent investment

-

MULTI Spectrum Property’s 87 hectare, award- winning Buh-Rein Estate in the northern suburbs continues to offer great opportunities to residents and investors.

The latest offering is a contemporary sectional title development called Libertas, where apartments are priced below or a little above R1 million, says Multi Spectrum Property CEO Riaan Roos.

Libertas offers 120 upmarket apartments which will be built in three phases. Phase 1 includes two apartment blocks of three storeys each. They will offer excellent views of the Boland Mountains.

The development will have easy access to the future shopping centre on the estate.

Type A apartments are 64m2 and offer two bedrooms and two bathrooms (main bedroom en-suite plus full family bathroom), with an open-plan kitchen/lounge leading to the patio with built-in braai. These are priced from R999 900 to R1.049m ( including VAT, transfer and bond registration costs, but no deposit is required).

Type B apartments are 60m2 with two bedrooms and one bathroom, open-plan kitchen/ lounge and sliding doors to balcony with built-in braai. These are priced from R979 900.

All apartments are tiled throughout and include built-in cupboards, covered carports and granite counter- tops. Kitchens include a stainless steel oven, hob and extractor.

“The estate has proved to be an excellent investment since its introduction,” says Roos.

“For example, a 51m2 apartment sold for around R425 000 in 2011 and attained a monthly rental income of R3 200.

“Today, similar apartments sell for around R700 000 and rentals have doubled.”
