When mem­bers of a union or political party be­come un­ruly dur­ing a protest and turn to de­stroy­ing property such as the Bloem­fontein City Hall, those or­gan­i­sa­tions must be held ac­count­able. It is easy to say that it was oth­ers and not their mem­bers in­volved. It is a dis­grace the way peo­ple are just al­lowed to get away with their bar­baric be­hav­iour. – Robert Gille­spie, Plum­stead
