Six-try SA A side entrench domination over French
THE South Africa ‘A’ side sealed a 2-0 series win over the French Barbarians with a convincing 48-28 win at a chilly Orlando Stadium in Soweto last night.
This result would have warmed the hearts of rugby fanatics and added further impetus to the upward trajectory that the national teams are enjoying over their French counterparts.
Unlike last weekend in Durban, the South Africans looked more assured in executing their game-plan.
While their surroundings last night may have been unfamiliar with their roots steeped in football, Johan Ackermann’s men played with we;come intent.
