Double launch at Burgundy Estate

Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition) - - PROPERTY -

RABIE Property Group is to launch two developments at Burgundy Estate near Durbanville this weekend.

One, called Brookside, consists of 58 three-bedroom, two- bathroom free- standing homes, and the other, Hazelwood, consists of 126 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with the first phase of 54 units now being launched.

Rabie’s first double launch is being driven by the continued high demand for homes in this up-and-coming precinct, says Rabie director Miguel Rodrigues.

All the Brookside houses will have double garages and private gardens. Fibre will be provided.

Houses range in size from 138m² to 165m² and are priced from R2.04 million to R2.365m. These prices include a discount of R50 000 per house, valid for 2017 only.

Brookside, which will be developed around a play park and private open space, will be a secure development with electrical perimeter fencing and an access controlled entrance.

Construction is due to start in March with phased completion from October 2018 to February 2019.

The first phase of Hazelwood will comprise nine blocks of six apartments each in three-storey walk-ups positioned to provide numerous pocket parks and green open areas.

The apartments will range in size from 58m² to 103m² and are priced from R960 000 to R1.695m.

Every apartment will have a built-in braai, kitchen cupboards and fibre, and parking options. The development will also offer electric perimeter fencing and a guardhouse with manned security.

Construction is expected to start in April with completion scheduled on a phased basis between February and August 2019.

Brian Usher, sales director of Property World, the dedicated sales agency for Rabie’s new developments, says Burgundy Estate is where Century City was 10 years ago.

“Century City has enjoyed exceptional capital appreciation over the past decade. With Rabie now at the helm at Burgundy Estate since 2015 we can expect an equally positive outlook for investors in the years ahead.”

The double launch will take place from the Burgundy Estate Sales Centre in Tyrian Road today and tomorrow from 10am to 5pm. – Property Writer
