Micro-living going up in Woodstock
CAPE Town is set to see the development of the first stateof-the-art micro-living apartments in the city.
To be constructed at 1 Albert Road in Woodstock, the micro two-bedroom units will range in size from 21m2 studios to 75m2 and will feature top-end appliances, flat- screen smart TVs and fibre internet.
Rob Stefanutto, managing director of Dogon Group Properties, says in addition to 133 living units over seven floors, the development will have communal recreational spaces, shops, a food court, laundromat and heated swimming pool.
“This new conceptual design in living, known as integrated living solutions, incorporates all the elements needed for inner-city living without having to leave the building.”
Designed by award-winning architect Louis Karol, 1 On Albert is situated on a MyCiTi bus route. The apartment interiors are designed by Grant Gillis of Delta Interiors.
Prices range from R799 000 to R945 000, and include transfer duty.
