FIRST National Bank (FNB) has launched its new Easy Smart Option bank account, making it the first bank to offer medical, financial and legal advice as an additional service to consumers who earn between R1 000 and R7 000 a month. The service helps customers with telephonic professional medical advice from a team of registered nurses, basic financial planning, debt management, garnishee support and debt counselling from qualified financial advisers, and assistance by attorneys and paralegals to advise on wills, pension, third-party claims and labour matters. Holders of the FNB Easy Smart Option will pay a monthly fee of R65.
