Meat pro­cess­ing plant and cater­ing equip­ment to go un­der the ham­mer

BIDWAY Auc­tion House will sell butch­ery and cater­ing equip­ment owned by a meat pro­cess­ing plant on site in Ep­ping In­dus­trial 1 on Tues­day.

“The equip­ment that will be of­fered on Tues­day will in­clude two meat band­saws, meat min­cers, an in­dus­trial bowl cut­ter, a bil­tong dry­ing cab­i­net and a num­ber of spe­cialised meat pro­cess­ing ma­chines,” says auc­tion­eer Stef Olivier, who heads the auc­tion house.

Olivier says among the big ma­chines that will go on the block are three Mun­ster wa­ter cool­ers, Her­man Skill mem­brane de­skin­ners, vac­uum form-and­seal ma­chines, vac­uum pack ma­chines, strap­ping ma­chines and a num­ber of con­veyer belts and ex­trac­tor canopies.

“On the same day, sev­eral pieces of cater­ing equip­ment, in­clud­ing a Ma­cadams oven and proover, chicken ro­tis­series, up­right del­i­catessen dis­play fridges, un­der-bar fridges, chip fry­ers and flat-top grillers will go un­der the auc­tion­eer’s ham­mer,” Olivier says.

All the auc­tion as­sets may be viewed be­tween 9am and 4pm on Mon­day at the meat pro­cess­ing plant premises sit­u­ated in Unit 18, Gerry Ferry Cres­cent, Ep­ping In­dus­trial 1.

The auc­tion will be held at the same Ep­ping In­dus­trial 1 venue at 11am on Tues­day.
