Lensmen killed in Yemen
TWO freelance cameramen were killed in rebel shelling of the outskirts of Yemen's third city Taez yesterday as they filmed fighting with government troops.
The clashes came after UN envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed flew out of the rebel-held capital of Sanaa on Thursday without securing agreement on a ceasefire for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan which begins this weekend. Security officials named the dead men as Takieddin Hutheifi and Wael al-Abassi.
