Pitt’s naked bod failed to impress Twain

IT is a mystery that has puzzled the world for 20 years: when Shania Twain sang “that don’t impress me much”, who was it that sparked such disdain?

The singer has finally revealed the true inspiration for her song – announcing to a New York audience that it was, in fact, Brad Pitt’s naked body which left her cold.

“I’ve never told this before. I’m going to say it now. I remember I had a girl friend visiting me and it was near Christmas and we were baking cookies.

“I was writing this album and there was a scandal of Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow where there were naked photos of him.

“And this was like all the rage. I just thought ‘I don’t know what all the fuss is about’.”

His photos had been sold to Playgirl Magazine – the actor then sued to prevent further publication.

The Canadian singer has gone on to sell more than 90 million records worldwide, making her one of the most successful female solo artists in history.

But, she clarified, she was not disparaging the actor.

“I wasn’t picking on Brad Pitt. But that was just the association in that moment [about] things we make fusses about.”
