Closing of ANC office irks party
The ANC’s provincial executive committee has issued a stern warning against its members who closed the Nelson Mandela Bay regional office – Florence Matomela House.
ANC provincial secretary Lulama Ngcukayitobi said he was shocked and disgusted by the “hooliganism” displayed by “people wearing ANC regalia in closing down the regional offices”.
The provincial secretary said it refused to be threatened and dictated to by individuals on how to run the movement and implement its programmes and campaigns.
Ngcukayitobi said he was disturbed the regional executive committee allowed “foreign behaviour”.
He urged the ANC REC to apply the rules and take stern action against involved members and said such action could not go unpunished.
