THE national 4x4 Challenge Club of South Africa, KZN, will once again be hosting the fourth round of the national and the third round of the KZN regional 4x4 Challenge Championship on May 28. This event, sanctioned by Motor Sport South Africa, attracts competitors from all over southern Africa.
This form of motorsport, run on similar lines to motorbike foot-up trials, allows spectators to be in among the action as competitors battle to get their vehicles through the demanding obstacle course.
Fantastic action shots, thrills and spills are guaranteed as drivers in six classes, from super modified 4x4s to two-wheel-drive buggies, strive for national honours.
The venue is situated at High Stakes 4x4 Track near Cato Ridge, with the event starting at 9 am.
Refreshments and food will be available on the day.
Entry to the event is R40 for adults and R20 for children under 14.
