TWENTY seasons down the line, and as riveting as ever is the around-theworld travel show The Amazing Race, which can be seen on Sony Entertainment Television (DStv channel 127) at 7.35 pm tomorrow night (March 31). Eleven teams, consisting of two members, start from California and trek 65 000 km to the grand prize. As always, the teams are made up of eclectic and colourful characters, including a former Big Brother contestant, married circus clowns, a Major League soccer player, a professional golfer, twins and a combat pilot. Other highlights this weekend: • Beauty and the Beast – M-Net, today at 7.30 pm: When Catherine Chandler ( Kristin Kreuk, Smallville) was a teenager, she was saved from the men who killed her mother. Years later, she meets the man who saved her, Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan, Terra Nova) — and he has a terrifying secret. • Adventures of Merlin – M-Net Series (DStv channel 114), today at 8.30 pm: In season five, Camelot is at the height of its golden age. With Queen Guinev- ere and the Knights of the Round Table at his side, Arthur has never felt stronger. But when the forces of fate cast a shadow over Camelot, Arthur must face his darkest fears. • Strictly Come Dancing – BBC Entertainment (DStv channel 120), 8 pm and 10 pm tomorrow: Sir Bruce Forsyth and his co-host Tess Daly present the sparkling semi-final of the ever-popular celebrity dancing competition. The celebrity contestants and their professional partners will have to perform a ballroom or a Latin-American dance.
