Make Time For You

Women's Health (South Africa) - - WE HEAR YOU -

I recently came to a point in my life where I was burnt out on every level possible. As a second-year student, I studied hard to do well academically, trained very hard to improve my fitness levels and spent a lot of time with friends. Although I love doing all of these things, for some reason I was exhausted. Why? I did some introspection and a close friend gave me the answer to my question: I spent so much time trying to balance everything that I totally neglected myself and did not make any time to do something that made me feel good or brought me joy. I immediately decided that I’m going to start prioritising my time. Women’s Health was the first thing I thought about when I decided to do something that would feed my soul and bring me joy. I’m like a kid in a candy shop when I see the newest edition of WH on the shelves. The September issue definitely didn’t disappoint and reading it was the best “me-time” I could’ve asked for. Thank you for an amazing magazine and for bringing my joy back.
