Ex­plo­sive­ness is key to any form of fight train­ing. You need to be able to move your body quickly from point A to point B, while main­tain­ing your bal­ance. These are some of the ex­er­cises box­ing trainer Sanchia du Preez uses to hone her body for the ring YOUR MOVE: Add these moves into your reg­u­lar work­outs in­di­vid­u­ally as car­dio fin­ish­ers or string them to­gether to make your own work­out. Keep the reps high to work on your en­durance – take a quick rest only if you re­ally need to, then carry on. Do three sets of each move.
