WAYS TO KEEP YOUR CAR CLEAN IF YOU HAVE KIDS

There’s a lot to say about the joys of parenting but, boy, can kids be messy! Unless you have a daily cleaning service to keep your vehicle spotless, here are ways to lessen the mess.

WOW (Women on Wheels) - - WOW -

Teach your kids to take responsibility and to get involved in looking after your car. WOW’s editor, Juliet McGuire, notes that a great line to teach and live by is, “If they are old enough to carry it to the car, they’re old enough to carry it back to the house.”

Make tidying up fun. Get your kids involved by turning cleaning into a game. See who can collect the most rubbish, or get them to count who had fewer of their own items left in the car.

Moist wipes are not just useful when a stinky nappy needs to be changed. Wipe down all your car’s hard surfaces at the end of every school run to keep things shiny.

Keep a bin or plastic bag in your car and empty it at the end of the day.
