EASY WAYS TO GET 30 MINUTES’ EXERCISE
❯ Walk more – find a few minutes before or after work, or set aside time during your lunch break.
❯ Set your alarm for every hour to remind you to get you up from your desk and take a five-minute water break to also walk or stretch.
❯ Phone and email colleagues less – get up and go talk to them.
❯ Keep a resistance band at work and do a few exercises at your desk.
❯ Swop your chair for an exercise ball.
❯ Have meetings while standing or walking instead of in a conference room.
❯ Encourage play and sport. Keep a few sporting items around the house such as bats, balls, bikes or skateboards.
❯ Limit Tv/computer time in the afternoon to encourage them to be outside.
❯ Get the kids to walk the dog.
❯ Plan outdoor family activities for weekends – try a hike, go for a ride or walk in a park or on the beach.
