DID YOU ENJOY THIS DIET?

I really en­joyed los­ing weight. My clothes are al­ready more loose, but I’m wait­ing to reach my weight-loss goal of 10 kilo­grams be­fore I go clothes shop­ping! I like the fact that the diet in­cor­po­rates fresh fruit, veg­eta­bles, nuts, chicken and fish and that I could have many small meals through­out the day.

WHAT WERE THE DRAW BACKS?

Giv­ing up pasta was hard at first but af­ter reap­ing the re­wards it be­came eas­ier. I do in­dulge on oc­ca­sion, but I try not to overeat when I do. My en­ergy lev­els were also a bit low at the be­gin­ning, but mid­way into the diet I felt much health­ier.

WAS THERE ENOUGH VA­RI­ETY?

The food op­tions left me feel­ing spoiled for choice. If the meal it­self wasn’t enough for me to feel sat­is­fied, I nor­mally waited half an hour and had a healthy snack such as an ap­ple.

WAS IT EASY TO STICK TO?

Most of the in­gre­di­ents are easy to come by and in­ex­pen­sive. Meals were quick to pre­pare and tasty. The only has­sle was hav­ing to cook two dif­fer­ent dishes – one for my fam­ily and one for my­self.

WOULD YOU REC­OM­MEND IT?

Yes, be­cause it’s a healthy way to shed un­wanted weight. It also doesn’t really re­quire a hec­tic ex­er­cise rou­tine al­though I found that I lost even more weight when I did some ba­sic ex­er­cise.

WHAT’S YOUR AD­VICE?

If you have a sweet tooth, pre­pare your­self mentally and start curb­ing your sweet in­take be­fore the diet so you’re not com­pletely shell-shocked when you start.
