DID YOU ENJOY THIS DIET?
I really enjoyed losing weight. My clothes are already more loose, but I’m waiting to reach my weight-loss goal of 10 kilograms before I go clothes shopping! I like the fact that the diet incorporates fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, chicken and fish and that I could have many small meals throughout the day.
WHAT WERE THE DRAW BACKS?
Giving up pasta was hard at first but after reaping the rewards it became easier. I do indulge on occasion, but I try not to overeat when I do. My energy levels were also a bit low at the beginning, but midway into the diet I felt much healthier.
WAS THERE ENOUGH VARIETY?
The food options left me feeling spoiled for choice. If the meal itself wasn’t enough for me to feel satisfied, I normally waited half an hour and had a healthy snack such as an apple.
WAS IT EASY TO STICK TO?
Most of the ingredients are easy to come by and inexpensive. Meals were quick to prepare and tasty. The only hassle was having to cook two different dishes – one for my family and one for myself.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT?
Yes, because it’s a healthy way to shed unwanted weight. It also doesn’t really require a hectic exercise routine although I found that I lost even more weight when I did some basic exercise.
WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE?
If you have a sweet tooth, prepare yourself mentally and start curbing your sweet intake before the diet so you’re not completely shell-shocked when you start.
