HONEy SOy PORK CHOPS WITH PINEAP­PLE SALSA

MARI­NADE AND MEAT 30 ml (2 T) honey 30 ml (2 T) hoisin

sauce 15 ml (1 T) soy sauce 4 bone­less pork chops such as the neck, cut 2,5 cm thick SALSA 1 can (440 g) pineap­ple chunks, drained 1 red pep­per, diced 1 small onion, finely

chopped 1 green chilli, seeded

and chopped 10 ml (2 t) lemon juice pinch of salt

1 Mari­nade and meat Mix the honey, hoisin sauce and soy sauce and rub over the chops 2 Al­low to mar­i­nate for 15 min­utes, then braai over mod­er­ate-to-hot coals, for about 15 min­utes turn­ing of­ten un­til golden brown and done 3 Salsa Mix to­gether all the ingredients Serve with the meat

Use fresh pineap­ple in the salsa, and add mango pieces and chopped fresh co­rian­der
