Honey chicken

sauce 125 ml (½ c) sherry 15 ml (1 T) honey CHICKEN 8 chicken pieces

(legs and thighs) salt and freshly ground black pep­per 15 ml (1 T) oil rice to serve

1 Honey sauce Mix to­gether all the ingredients 2 Chicken Sea­son the chicken pieces with salt and pep­per, and pour the sauce over 3 Heat the oil in a skot­tel braai and gen­tly fry the chicken un­til done 4 Serve with rice

WHEN IS CHICKEN COOKED? To check if it’s done, push a skewer into the thick­est part of the meat – if the juices run clear and are no longer pink, the chicken is done
