Braaiing 3 pineapples
60 ml (¼ c) lemon juice
1 can (385 g) condensed milk 2 egg yolks
2 bananas ice cream to serve
1 Peel the pineapples but keep the tops in place. Halve lengthways and scoop out the core of each pineapple half. Braai over moderate coals until browned.
2 Whisk the lemon juice, condensed milk and egg yolks together until thickened. Spoon into the pineapples.
3 Lightly braai the bananas for about 2 minutes, slice and divide among the pineapple halves.
4 Serve with ice cream.
