You can also use chicken breast fil­lets. Cube the fil­lets and thread onto ke­bab skew­ers.

8 chicken pieces

MARI­NADE

30 ml (2 T) tikka spice mix 30 ml (2 T) tan­doori spice mix 15 ml (1 T) dried

chilli flakes juice of 1 le­mon

250 ml (1 c) plain yo­ghurt 8 ro­tis to serve 1 Make three in­ci­sions in the thick­est part of each chicken piece and ar­range in a mar­i­nat­ing dish.

2 Mari­nade Mix to­gether all the mari­nade in­gre­di­ents and coat the chicken well.

3 Mar­i­nate for at least 30 min­utes but prefer­ably overnight.

4 Braai for about 20 min­utes over mod­er­ate coals, turn­ing fre­quently un­til done.

5 Serve the chicken with ro­tis.
