Baby pota­toes with ba­con and dill

30 ml (2 T) olive oil

125 g smoked streaky ba­con, chopped 7 ml (1½ t) smoked pa­prika

5 ml (1 t) ground cumin

5 ml (1 t) ground co­rian­der

500 g baby pota­toes, boiled and

drained salt and freshly ground pep­per

2 dill sprigs, chopped 1 Heat the oil and fry the ba­con un­til crisp. Add the spices and stir-fry for another minute.

2 Halve the pota­toes and mix into the ba­con mix­ture. Sea­son with salt and pep­per.

3 Re­move the ba­con and potato mix­ture from the heat and mix in the dill. 4 Put two sheets of foil on top of each other and spoon the pota­toes into the mid­dle. Fold the foil over to make a par­cel.

5 Braai the potato par­cel on a grid for 30 min­utes or un­til the pota­toes are de­li­ciously crisp.
