TOMATO BEEF STEW IN A BAG

750 g stew­ing beef salt and pep­per 250 ml ( 1 c) flour 15 ml ( 1 T) gar­lic and herb sea­son­ing 15 ml ( 1 T) dried oregano 2 onions, cut into wedges 2 gar­lic cloves, chopped few sprigs of fresh thyme 1 can ( 410 g) cherry toma­toes 80 ml ( ¹ / 3 c) tomato sauce 10 g fresh basil 2 Mix the flour, gar­lic and herb sea­son­ing and oregano Toss the meat in the mix­ture, shak­ing off any ex­cess Put a lit­tle of the mix­ture in a large roast­ing bag and shake well 3 Put the roast­ing bag on a large bak­ing sheet and ar­range the onion wedges and gar­lic in the bag Ar­range the meat and thyme on top in the bag 4 Mix the cherry toma­toes and tomato sauce and pour over the meat Close the bag ac­cord­ing to the packet in­struc­tions and bake for 45- 50 min­utes 5 Re­move the meat from the bag, scat­ter the basil on top and serve with cia­batta, if pre­ferred
