Pork steaks with mus­tard

Pork neck steaks are de­li­ciously ten­der and go so well with mus­tard.


180 ml (¾ c) or­ange juice 30 ml (2 T) apri­cot jam 30 ml (2 T) whole­grain mus­tard 15 ml (1 T) soy sauce 30 ml (2 T) oil pinch each of ground cumin, ginger and co­rian­der hand­ful of chopped fresh co­rian­der

Prepa­ra­tion time: 15 min­utes Marinating time: 30 min­utes Cook­ing time: 15-20 min­utes 6 pork neck steaks, cut 3 cm thick salt rye bread sand­wiches (recipe in tip be­low) to serve

1 Mari­nade Mix the in­gre­di­ents. 2 Pork Put the meat in a bowl, pour the mari­nade over and set aside for 30 min­utes. 3 Re­move the meat from the mari­nade. Sea­son with salt and braai over hot coals un­til sealed on all sides. Raise the grill and braai the meat un­til done but not dry, brush­ing of­ten with the mari­nade. 4 Serve the pork with the sand­wiches.
