Pork sausage rolls
Mustard and pork go so well together and sausage rolls are filling and easy to make – this is also a great weekend supper option.
Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 15-20 minutes
4 pork sausages
15 ml (1 T) butter 15 ml (1 T) olive oil 3 large onions, sliced salt and freshly ground black pepper
125 ml (½ c) mayonnaise 15 ml (1 T) Dijon mustard 30 ml (2 T) wholegrain mustard
4 bread rolls, halved 80 g watercress Preheat the oven to 180 °C. 1 Arrange the pork sausages on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through. 2 Onions Heat the butter and oil and slowly fry the onions over medium heat until soft and caramelised. Season with salt and pepper. 3 Mustard mayo Mix the ingredients. 4 To assemble Spread the rolls with the mustard mayo. Divide the watercress among the rolls and top with the pork sausages and caramelised onions.
