TUKI BRANDO (26)
FAMOUS GRANDPARENTS HOLLYWOOD ICON MARLON BRANDO & TAHITIAN ACTRESS TARITA TERIIPAIA Claim to fame: When he was 17 he modelled for Versace then became the face of Swiss watchmaker TechnoMarine. With the same dark, brooding good looks as the young Marlon, it’s no surprise Tuki’s modelling career took off. But he’s had tragedy in his life. Tuki never knew his father, Dag Drollet, because his uncle, Christian, shot and killed Drag while his mom, Cheyenne, was pregnant with Tuki. She committed suicide when he was five years old and Tuki was raised by his maternal gran in Tahiti. “He was really nice but the boss of the house,” Tuki says of Marlon, who died when Tuki was 13 and omitted him from his will.
‘Acting is my grandfather and modelling is me. Even if I wanted to act it would be too hard for me. People would say, ‘Ah, he’s not as good as his grandfather’ ”
