YOU (South Africa) - - SAY -

I’m an elderly lady on a small pension. I can’t afford to buy new clothes but I have several rather old garments – some more than 10 years old – that I still wear often. It seems that clothes made years ago wear better than the modern ones, no matter how much you pay for them.

If I go out in a nice outfit I change into my “house clothes” as soon as I get home, and this goes a long way in preserving their good quality.

What I find difficult to declutter is sentimental stuff, such as pretty birthday cards and ornaments my children gave me as youngsters.

I enjoy YOU every week and swop it with my neighbour for a dozen eggs! EGG LADY, EMAIL
