WOMEN AREN’T THE PROBLEM
To P Baldwin, who said men would start respecting women if they covered up (YOU Say, 2 November): men were disrespecting women even in the times when women weren’t allowed to show their ankles. It happens in all cultures, regardless of how women dress or how much they “cover up”.
Perhaps someone should teach men to respect women as people and not for what they choose to wear, instead of policing what women do with their bodies. KIRA, EMAIL
