SHE has yet to put a foot wrong – literally and figuratively. She’s beloved in Britain and celebrated abroad, a regal regular on magazine covers and an asset to the famous family she’s wed into. Six years into her marriage to Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge hasn’t been embroiled in the vaguest whiff of scandal.

To crown it all she’s always impeccably turned out, from the top of her glossy head to the tips of her pedicured feet.

And yet alas, poor Kate. Heavy is the head that wears the fascinator, for it will be picked apart in some way, no matter how decorous or dazzling it may be.

Because, for all the adulation she commands, there are people out there ready and eager to pounce on the future queen of the United Kingdom.

Here’s what’s been going on.
