Blush pink roses adorned their trendy naked car­rot cake with its lay­ers of cream cheese and vanilla ic­ing. Guests en­joyed a starter of baguettes with boerenkaas, calamari, and olives with rose and chilli tomato pesto. Favours in­cluded home-made rose pe­tal jelly, wa­ter­melon jelly and pick­led rose­mary olives pre­sented in glass jars with dainty, sil­ver cut­lery en­graved with the cou­ple’s wed­ding date and ini­tials.
