Cheryl grew up in a large family and learnt to cook at an early age to help her mom, Elizabeth, on the farm. She also loved visiting her aunt Lena, because her pantry was always packed with canned fruit, rusks, breads, koeksisters and milk tart. Food is her passion and a recipe book is like a novel to her.
