In September we celebrate heritage month, and we thought what better way to do so than to showcase our proudly South African heritage in this issue? This legacy is such an important part of who we are. Globalisation and the beautiful cultural melting pot that is South Africa make it so easy for our children to forget who they are and lose sight of their roots. In my home we’ve made a conscious decision to pass our heritage on to our boys through language, song and the gift of reading. I believe it is in our languages that our culture is preserved – the indigenous oral traditions of Africa. Language teaches them our cultural nuances while song and poetry instil our history in a way that makes them proud to be who they are. Give the gift of heritage to your children this month!

And of course, those who know me well will attest to my obession with multiples. This issue is dedicated to those moms and dads who have a double (even triple) dose of love – and all that comes with it!

We would love to hear from you. Send us your lovely pictures and stories about raising multiples. Until next time...
