WHEN SHE IS SCARED OF STRANGERS

Your Baby & Toddler - - Toddler -

✓ Don’t feel embarrassed when your child is suddenly afraid of new people. At seven months old babies can become a bit anxious when they suddenly end up in the company of someone new.

✓ If she cries when you place her in the arms of someone new, rather take her. Console her in your arms while the other person is there. Let the other person speak to her and play with her while you hold her. Try and give her to the person again for a short while, while you are there.

✓ Try to leave the room for a short while and see how it goes. If she kicks up a fuss, rather take her and console her. Try again another time.
